With improvement in agronomic technology and the research that has gone into grasses, I think there's a lot of clubs that say, 'Why can't we do it, whether we're in Florida or Arizona or Oklahoma or North Carolina?'
What do you make of the "agronomic" reading of this situation?
These are the 'agronomic' characteristics typically measured in feeding tests, and all too often, the only characteristics measured.
It takes more crop nutrients, better agronomic practices and water management.
They lessen the need for chemical pesticides and make possible more environment-friendly agronomic practices such as no-till farming, which causes less soil erosion and runoff and releases less CO2 to the atmosphere.
